A Solicitor and Advocate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he holds an LLM degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria with special bias in Secured Credit transactions and Comparative Company Law. He has had over 24 years work experience in various financial institutions. An Alumni of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, he cut his teeth in banking at Nigerian American Merchant Bank Limited and thereafter worked at various times with Victory Merchant Bank Ltd., Industrial & General Insurance Co. Ltd, Standard Trust Bank Ltd and Asset Plus Finance Ltd where he resigned as an Executive Director. Over the years, he has acquired vast skills and experience in legal and corporate services, equipment leasing, corporate banking and credit administration. He has attended various courses and seminars in various areas of banking, credit, equipment leasing and energy amongst others. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA); a member of the Equipment Leasing Association of Nigeria (ELAN) and an Associate Member of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria. He holds an MBA degree from the Business School, Netherlands.
